Madison Farabaugh grew up in Howard County, Maryland and currently lives in Northern Virginia. She is a recent graduate from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Public Relations and minors in Spanish Language Studies and Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. She was a member of her university's chapters in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and InterVarsity Christian Campus Ministry. Additionally, she earned membership into the academic honors societies of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi.
Through an internship with JMU's student-run PR firm, Madison has acquired significant competence in leadership, content creation, project managing, client/media relations, team collaboration, task delegation, strategic research/planning, and copy editing. Further, through her other jobs as a writing consultant, teaching fellow, server, and sales associate, Madison has improved her skills in planning, mentorship, problem solving, time management, and customer service. After her travels to the Dominican Republic for a mission's trip and to Barcelona for study abroad, Madison expanded her interest in traveling for learning and pleasure as well as her appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. In her free time, Madison also enjoys hiking, fitness, music, and drawing. |
